TV Tunes | Blog | Get your thinking caps on!

March 3, 2010 Blog 7 Comments

Wow! We are literally speechless at the amazing support and feedback we have received since our little website (and competition) went live. We just wanted to take this opportunity to thank each and every one of you that has become a fan on Facebook, shared us on your profile, talked about us across the office at work, followed us on Twitter, Retweeted us and linked to us from your own personal blogs. We have literally been inundated with responses and we cannot thank you all enough for your enthusiasm and responses so far.

The draw will take place at the end of the month, so keep telling people about us and we will keep producing great content in the meantime! Also, we will soon be opening a poll to get you great users to help us decide how we should make the draw – we want to do it in a totally random and preferably original way that nobody has done before. Most importantly we are going to film it so that you can see that everything is done fairly and above board and hopefully we can make you laugh as well.

So, email us, leave a comment on this post, send us a tweet to @tv_tunes or send us a smoke signal with your ideas on how we can perform the draw and we will put all the ideas up for everyone to vote for their favourite. We can’t wait to hear your ideas, and the person who suggests the method that the public choose for us to go with will win a special secret prize! Another chance to win!

Get in touch, and once again – a MASSIVE thank you!

  2. Jon says:

Come on .. we can go more mental than that! We want to do something that will be a bit “out there” …

  3. andrea caizley says:

what about getting a ball pit with numbers on for each entrant, and have a good old dive in.

  4. @psychicsheep says:

I’m thinking a series of piggy back races. Each pair start with an equal amount of entries, then the loser of each heat has to dump their entries and the remaining entries are shared out equally again until a winner remains.
Would be better if each entries name was on an egg which all had to be carried on the race ….. just to give it an easter theme!

  5. Jon says:

Much more like it – anyone think they can do better?

  6. Sarah Whittington says:

HOW ABOUT PUTTING RANDOM NUMBERS AROUND A CAR TRACK AND ON A LAP THE DRIVER HAS TO GRAB A NUMBER?

OR THE FIRST NUMBER CALLED ON THE LOTTERY! OR BINGO NIGHT!

OR MAYBE GETTING KATIE PRICE TO GET INTO A BATH OF FISH GUTS PICKING,WITH HER TEETH PICK UP A STAR WITH A CHOOSEN NUMBER ON!

OR GET EVERY ENTRY TO NAME THE TUNE THAT YOU HUM?
