Still seeking Zoe’s Avatar program, Clarice redoubles her efforts to gain Amanda Graystone’s confidence in order to find it. Amanda, meanwhile, has been literally haunted by visions of her brother, who died in a car crash several years ago.

Zoe develops her strategic romance with Philomel, the young scientist in her father’s employ, in hopes that he’ll be a part of her plan in transporting the robot body to Gemenon. Lacy’s attempts to enlist the help of Barnabas for this enterprise have fallen short, producing tension between her and Zoe.

In his quest to find his daughter, Joseph Adama corners Heracles, the boy who introduced Tamara Adama to New Cap City, and convinces him to help save his daughter. Heracles warns Joseph, however, of the definitive peril of New Cap City: If you die in the game, you can never return.

The visions of her brother intensify for Amanda, leading her on a full-out chase of the specter through the streets of Caprica City, to the discovery of a poster with a chilling picture. Clarice, who has begged more time of her STO superior, the mysterious Olaf, approaches Amanda on the pretext of sharing some rare ambrosia. Amanda confides in Clarice on the subject her visions, and reveals that the image on the poster is the exact location where her brother died. … Continue Reading

Glee | Season One | Episode Eleven

Episode 11: “Hairography”

As the “Fine Arts Administrator or something,” Sue asks Will for the set list for Sectionals. Then when Sue requests the names of the participating schools, Will suspects that she is leaking information to the competition. He pays a visit to Grace Hitchens at the Jane Addams Academy and asks her point blank if Sue gave her their setlist. Hitchens denies this, but is confident her girls will win anyway. Feeling guilty, Will offers Hitchens’ team the use of McKinley’s auditorium for a glee scrimmage.

After the Jane Addams squad performs a sexy version of “Bootylicious,” Rachel assures a worried Will that they were merely using “hairography” — whipping their hair around to mask their weak vocals and choreography. Yet Will still wants the group to do a song from “Hair” complete with wigs.

Quinn wonders whether Puck might be a better father than Finn, so she decides to take him on a “test drive.” She enlists Kurt to divert Rachel with a makeover under the guise that it will help sway Sectional judges.

That night, Terri rejects Will’s intimate advances for fear he will realize that her baby bump is fake. She decides to sidetrack him by buying his old high school car to refinish. … Continue Reading

Episode 10: “Ballad”

Glee - Glee, Season 1 - Ballads

Will has the glee pair off to learn to express emotions through ballads. He’s uncomfortable when Rachel draws his name and chooses the romantic “Endless Love” as their duet. As she sings, Rachel starts to realize how “super, super cute” her teacher is. Yet Will recognizes the look on her face…

When Quinn’s Chastity Ball dress is too tight, her mother Judy quickly fends it off to her quitting Cheerios.

Rachel gifts Will with a gold star-flecked tie to make him think of her. Will confides in Emma that this is similar to a crush by his former student, Suzy Pepper. She too gave him a tie to remember her by. Yet when Will confronted Suzy, she ate a hot pepper in despair that put her into a coma. Will is now worried that Rachel will be too fragile to let down. Emma advises him to sing his feelings to her in his ballad.

Wrapped up in with own problems, Finn cannot perform with his partner Kurt, who harbors a secret crush on Finn. Kurt suggests express his frustrations about the baby through song. Glee - Glee, Season 1 - Wheels

Rachel, on a mission to tell Finn that he is not the father of Quinn’s baby, tries to hint to the glee kids that Puck is actually the father with the hope that they’ll tell Finn, but they already know and conspire to keep Rachel from telling Finn. Rachel tells Quinn that babies of Jewish parentage are at risk for a horrible genetic disorder, with the hope that Quinn will talk to Puck about it.

Will introduces Emma as the new Glee supervisor and receives an underwhelming response from the kids, who must now come up with their set list for Sectionals on their own.

Rachel offers to do the ballad, but Mercedes says she’s sick of Rachel hogging the spotlight when Mercedes works just as hard as her. Mercedes proceeds to perform “And I’m Telling You”, absolutely killing it, and Rachel concedes that Mercedes should perform the ballad.

After class, Finn tells Rachel that if they win Sectionals everything will be good for awhile. Rachel agrees – then proceeds to tell Finn that Puck is the father of Quinn’s baby. Finn, livid, attacks Puck, breaks up with Quinn and quits glee. … Continue Reading

Episode 6: “Exam Time”

The Inbetweeners - The Inbetweeners, Series 2 - Episode 6 - End of Term

In the final episode of the second series, the boys are facing exams. Will is overworking himself and relying on energy drinks to keep him going; Simon is ignoring his revision and helping Carli revise Geography; Jay is smitten by his new girlfriend Chloe and Neil is preparing for his exam in PE by playing Pro Evolution Soccer. After the revision, Carli and Simon exchange several kisses and Carli accepts the invitation to join Simon and the rest of the gang at the nearby pub for a post-exam celebratory drink, and Simon rushes to tell Will – only to be shunned by his friend, who is cracking under the pressure of the looming exams. Jay is advised to make sure he always knows where Chloe is, and he begins texting her on a regular basis. The final exams come and both Simon and Jay are too distracted with their love lives to do any work on the paper. With all of the energy drinks he has taken in, Will begins to develop stomach trouble, and he soils himself in the last exam. The boys go to the pub without Will, and as they get the drinks in, Will turns up wearing some tracksuit bottoms from lost property and not caring about the exams and how he likely failed them; instead he begins drinking pints of lager. Both Simon and Jay get dumped by their respective girls, and the boys drive off thinking up new nicknames for Will; now unarguably the biggest “saddo” in school.

Episode 5: “The Duke Of Edinburgh Awards”

The Inbetweeners - The Inbetweeners, Series 2 - Episode 5 - The Duke of Edinburgh Awards

Will is picked to run the school’s Duke of Edinburgh Award scheme, and although Jay is reluctant to help, Neil and Simon agree to participate. Will signs himself, Simon and Neil up at a local retirement home in order to fulfil one of their “D of E” modules. The boys go to the home for the first time, and Daisy tells him how she wants the following day and night off so that she can attend a friend’s hen party. Once again Will volunteers himself and his friends for the shifts (after also persuading Daisy to go on a date with him), but Simon then reveals that he has to spend time with his dad and cannot complete the shifts. Jay agrees to help, but only if he receives money for it. The next day Will finds himself exhausted and falls asleep in the common room at school. After Jay and Neil play a prank on Will, his pubic hair falls out. Will panics before his date and quickly stuffs a woman’s wig down his pants at the retirement home. Will tries to keep Daisy from finding out about the wig after their date, but she finds out and tells Will to leave after thinking that he did not have any pubic hair in the first place and that she was too old for him. The next day, Will tries to explain to Daisy, but she is too embarrassed to talk to him. Meanwhile, Jay becomes bored watching over the old people and sneaks off to an apparent unoccupied room to masturbate. When he is discovered, the boys are kicked off the scheme.

Episode 4: “Night Out in London”

The Inbetweeners - The Inbetweeners, Series 2 - Episode 4 - Night Out In London

Will decides the boys need to lose their “saddo” tag and that they should go clubbing in London to kickstart this “new life.” Jay and Neil both warm to the idea, but Simon is reluctant to do so, stating that his dad will kill him if he drives down to London. He is later persuaded to go after Neil says he has a car and will happily drive the foursome down to the capital, as well as Carli telling him that she and her friend Rachel will also be going down to London on the same night. As the boys prepare for the night out, Simon is informed that he will have to drive seeing as Neil’s car has no engine yet. Still excited by the prospect of going to the same club as Carli, he agrees to drive. When the boys arrive in London, however, things begin to get a little pear-shaped. Simon is attacked by some men from a nearby bus stop after Jay decides to lean out of the window and call them “bus wankers” as they drive past. Simon has to swap his trainers for a homeless man’s urine-soaked shoes in order to get in. As Neil and Jay walk off to find some girls, Will and Simon prepare for their “dates” with Rachel and Carli, respectively. Both dates don’t go very well, with Rachel smitten by another man and Carli feeling put off Simon after smelling the urine from his shoes. After Neil is thrown out for “masturbating” in the toilets (he was actually inspecting the cut on his penis he received earlier whilst urinating into a beer can in Simon’s car), the boys decide to call it a night.

The Inbetweeners | Series Two | Episode Three

Episode 3: “Will’s Birthday”

The Inbetweeners - The Inbetweeners, Series 2 - Episode 3 - Will's Birthday

Jay steals a flyer for a “sexy” party being held by a girl in their school and the boys decide to go. However, the party clashes with Will’s sophisticated birthday dinner and Will eventually persuades the others that his dinner is more important. The boys all attempt to get a date for Will’s dinner, but everyone seems to be going to this party being held, with Will’s love interest Charlotte rejecting his dinner. Simon introduces his French “friend” Patrice (played by Vladimir Consigny) that he has to look after for a while, and Will’s mum takes a particular shine to him. Will’s birthday comes and his present from his mum is a black vest that his mum thinks looks cool. The day doesn’t get much better as his dinner comes along and there isn’t a female in sight. After being branded “paedophiles” by a group of drunken young girls and finding an angry stripper on the doorstep, Will agrees maybe going to the party is better than nothing. The boys (except Patrice) are denied entry to the party and all but Will decide to climb the fence, with Will deciding to crawl under the fence (crawling through dog faeces in the process.) Having to take his jacket off, he is revealed to be wearing his black vest and gets ridiculed from many people at the party for doing so. Will gets a shock when he finds Patrice and Charlotte in bed together. The boys receive a brief respite from their bad day when Donovan turns up looking for Charlotte, and the prospect of Patrice getting beat up is a happy one. Unfortunately as they leave the party, they are spotted by the group of young girls who send their much larger brother after them with a cricket bat.
